I recently acquired a Jango Fett helmet complete with rangefinder and stalk. The seller allegedly worked on Episode I and Episode II and managed to take moulds of these pieces, I cannot prove this story but I have no doubt that the shape and details on this helmet and rangefinder are identical to the screen used ones.

The helmet is cast using an aluminium bound gelcoat, this basically means that there is aluminium powder mixed within the outer surface, this will be sanded and polished to reveal a very realistic aluminium finish, even cold to the touch. E.MAIL
